Streets & Parks Department
The City of McCamey is seeking applicants for the Streets & Parks Department, to perform duties essential to maintaining City streets, alleys, parks, and City grounds. Duties will include, but not limited to, daily mowing, weed-eating and cleanup of all City properties, replacement of street and stop signs, repairing of pot holes, and removal of large items from alleys. This job involves strenuous physical work, some after-hours work, and working independently.
Candidate must possess a High School Diploma or GED, and must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record.
Qualified applicant must live in McCamey, and pass a physical, drug test, and background check.
Minimum starting salary: $12.00 per hour, but higher wages may be offered, depending on experience. Backhoe experience preferred, but not required. Excellent benefits package offered.
