City of McCamey – Notice of Public Hearings

The McCamey City Council will hold Public Hearings on Monday, September 10, 2018, at 6:45 pm, in Council Chambers, City Hall,  207 East 6th Street,   McCamey, TX, to:

CONSIDER ADOPTION OF THE CITY BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR OCTOBER 01, 2018 – SEPTEMBER 30, 2019.

CONSIDER ADOPTION OF THE PROPOSED AD VALOREM TAX RATE OF $0.347976 PER $100 OF VALUE FOR THE CITY OF MCCAMEY.

This budget will raise more revenue from property taxes, than last year’s budget, by $14,802.00, which is a 6.8076% increase.  The property tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year is $932.00.
